Weekend Must Dos: Asheville Arts and Crafts Fests

Fall is really showing off in Western North Carolina right now! Beyond the beautiful foliage, bear sightings, and amazing hiking opportunities, fall in Asheville is also bursting with arts and crafts events. Just this weekend, there are many to choose from. I've listed some of my favorites below:

Date: October 25, 2025 (Noon to 10PM)

Location: Pack Square Park, Asheville, NC

Celebrating its 15th year, the Surreal Sirkus Arts Festival, is a spectacular display of art, music, and community that Asheville is so known for. Enjoy live performances, local art vendors, and food. Stick around for the evening show where you can catch circus arts, puppetry, and fire dancing! Oh My!


Dates: October 25, 2025

Location: Wicked Weed Brewing, Downtown Asheville, NC

Celebrate all things Appalachia at Wicked Weed's AppFest. There will be live music from 2PM - 5PM, seasonal beer releases, and a Makers' Market hosted by the Appalachian Artist Collective. This is a family friendly event!


Dates: October 25, 2025 (10AM - 5PM)

Location: River Arts District, Asheville, NC

Head to the Upper RAD this Saturday! Studios and galleries are open, and displaced RAD artists will be set up in the parking lot at Pinegate Renewables (130 Roberts St).


Dates: October 26, 2026 (10AM - 4PM)

Location: 5 Foundy Street, Asheville, NC

Uncommon Market is a curated pop-up market for antiques, art, vintage decor, jewelry and beyond. This outdoor show will be located at 5 Foundy Street.

ReMix It is Asheville’s upcoming creative reuse center, where donated art supplies, craft materials, and all kinds of unexpected odds and ends find new life in creative hands.
